West Mountain Radio Operating Manual

Test Conguration

To begin testing your battery click "File-->New" or the button.

You will notice that the “New Test” window defaults to the “Prole”

“<Auto-Check> and is in the auto check mode. With this prole you

only need to provide the basic information to run a test, and the

software will do the rest. All you need to supply is the “Test Name”,

the “Battery Type” (chemistry) and provide the batteries rated

“Capacity”.

Prole

Prole defaults to "<Auto Check>" which causes the program to

automatically recommend appropriate test discharge current and

cutoff voltage from the user entered "Battery Type" and "Capacity".

It then reads battery's fully charged voltage and makes a cell count

estimate and recommends a test cutoff voltage and discharge

current. With this prole you only need to provide the basic

information to run a test, and the software will do the rest. All you

need to supply is the “Test Name”, the “Battery Type” (chemistry)

and provide the batteries rated “Capacity”.
